StoreTrader
Live is the new online option for StoreTrader Point of Sale. It lets
you run StoreTrader over the internet as a software service.
You
run the standard StoreTrader PoS software on your PoS terminals, but
they connect to a hosted StoreTrader server over the broadband network
rather than to a local server in each store. Sales tansactions from each PoS
terminal are replicated in real-time so that reporting and system
management can be done from anywhere on the internet - such as with a
wireless laptop or your home PC. If the broadband
connection is interrupted, the shops continue trading because every PoS
terminal manages its own local database, which automatically re-syncs with the central server
when the connection is
restored.

Live you reduce the effort and cost of managing the local PC network in
each store, while gaining complete flexibility over how you control the
item and stock data, and stock, sales and cash reporting Because it
always has an up-to-the-minute picture of your sales, you can run
real-time reports from anywhere to analyse trends across the enterprise or to drill
down to individual transactions at your tills. You can even see
copies of individual receipts.

over whether to run it as a web-hosted system or as a local network of
