In
less than three years Petmania has opened a dozen stores across
Ireland, to become the dominant pet store chain across the country.
More stores are planned before Christmas this year. Part of the
O'Keeffes Group. a Kilkenny-based business which also owns the
well-known Meubles furniture store, Petmania has established itself as
the one shop where you can find a huge range of pets, petfoods and
accessories. A speciality is birds (the display units are
air-conditioned) and recently the focus has been on tropical and cold
water fish, with associated display tanks and aquariums.
StoreTrader's
Enterprise Server links the store servers in each of the Petmania
stores so that O'Keeffes has a complete, up to the minute picture of
sales and cash across a widely dispersed estate. And because of the
StoreTrader wrchitecture it's easy to add new stores as they are
commissioned.
In combination with the Swan Retail accounting
and merchandise planning system at Meubles, StoreTrader provides
