Version 3.501 - a technical release
The
latest release of StoreTrader Live provides an extensive list of
technical enhancements for the Command Interface (which is used by
other applications to call StoreTrader functions such as payment
processing) and XML. It introduces an embedded web server to the PoS to
support another mechanism for communicating with other systems (such as
a wireless handheld computer). It also provides performance
improvements in a large multi-till environment and adds several
diagnostic and logging facilities. A useful facility for non-technical users is the ability to request a gift receipt at any time. The gift receipt doesn't show item prices. Touchwood don't need to, now (touch wood, that is!)
Inaccurate
product price and stock levels, missing product records and
getting reliable sales information - these are some of the issues
Touchwood wanted to address by installing StoreTrader Pharmacy
